“…An impressive, multi-talented, all-female bluegrass group featuring tight soaring harmonies, clever songwriting, and an old timey vibe.” -Glide Magazine

Lula Wiles, the Boston based Americana trio from Maine has received many accolades in the years they have been touring together. After playing premier festivals such as Grey Fox, Fresh Grass and the Green River Music Festival,  they were selected as Official Showcase Artists for the 2016 Folk Alliance International conference.

Buckland, Obomsawin and Burke trade front-woman duties and instruments back and forth like playing cards. As their performance unfolds, harmonies and compositions affect the audience as if it were the listener’s own long lost memories held up for all to hear and feel.

All proficient vocalists, multi-instrumentalists, and songwriters, the three women of Lula Wiles are each uniquely powerful in their own right; but combined, they are a force to be reckoned with. The band’s rising popularity will have them touring in Europe this Fall after these three shows at historic New England performance halls.
